PERSONAL STORIES: WHY IT MATTERS
CampGiving is about doing what we can, together. Last year, we gave $2,150 in scholarships to three amazing students, helping them take one step closer to their dreams. We also created opportunities for kids to explore the outdoors—some picked up a fishing rod for the very first time! And for Covenant House, we supported their work with contributions to uplift their residents and mission. These small but mighty moments are proof that when we show up for each other, change happens. This year, we’re ready to do even more, and we can’t do it without YOU. Let’s build something beautiful, one step at a time.
WHAT WE’RE DOING WITH THE FUNDS WE RAISE
We’ve got big plans, y’all—like $200K big. Every dollar we raise during CampGiving is going straight to projects that matter, changing lives one step at a time. Here’s the breakdown:
For the Kids:
We’re all about building the next generation. With your help, we’re tripling scholarships to award $7,500 to students chasing their dreams. We’re hosting Outdoor Adventure Days to get kids hiking, fishing, and discovering new passions, plus bringing the fun with Kids Corners at community events.
For the Community:
We’re partnering with organizations like Covenant House to help those who need it most. From supporting shelter programs to providing essentials, we’re making sure no one gets left behind.
For Mental Wellness:
Healing hikes, yoga sessions, mindful meditations—we’re creating spaces where our people can breathe, heal, and reconnect. Plus, we’re sponsoring veterans to attend Melanated Campout, because they deserve that love, too.
$200K isn’t just a number; it’s a goal that’ll fund moments of joy, hope, and transformation. Together, we’ll make it happen.
