Campground Details
Beautiful campground located in middle Georgia. This facility offers RV sites with electricy, cable tv and water hookups, both premium and primitive tent camping, and cabins. The property has scenic lakeviews, a marina, golfing, delicious restaurants, plentiful nice restrooms, dumping stations and so much more.

Yes, nice restrooms are plentiful and on-site. And we will have a cleaning service to keep them nice and clean. See pic above.
Yes, Campout is for All campers, both old and new. This will be a great time to make new camp cousins and visit with the ones you already know.
Dry tent means that you bring your own water and electricity (power bank, no generators). No worries, it's easy and the great news is that if you are tent camping, you probably already have all the items you need around your house.
All deposits and payments are non-refundable. Please consider adding the purchase protection option to your ticket for that added assurance. In addition, you can transfer your package to another person. Transfers and name changes are $35 per transfer.
Log-in to your registrant account to make all transfers. Any changes made to the reservation through email/phone will incur a $45 fee.
For security reasons, we only disclose the address to paid registrants. That said it's located in Central GA, less than 2.5 hours from Atlanta.
The nearest major airport is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL / KATL), which has international and domestic flights from Atlanta, Georgia and is 2.25 hours from Cordele, GA.
Yes, you can arrive early on Thursday. There are no official Melanated Campout activities planned for Thursday, but feel free to come early to pre-game/tailgate with the Melanated Campout staff, volunteers and your camp cousins.
Yes, we offer 2 installments. You can put down a deposit to secure your spot. The date for the remaining balance payment will be provided at the time the deposit is made. All deposits are non-refundable. All payments are non-refundable.
